Our Story

No matter where our journey takes us, two things are certain: our roots are in the south and coffee has become part of who we are. We started in the small bayou town of Des Allemands, LA where we had our first home, our kids, and made many lifelong friends.

As far back as I can remember in our relationship, there has always been a pot of coffee made for every function, when company came over, etc. We have always been known as the home with all the coffee. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Southern Roots is a compilation of our lives. With every coffee that we roast, we hope that Southern Roots captures our life’s adventures. Follow us as we package up where we’ve been, our favorite people and places, several memories, and on and on. We don’t want to just sell coffee because anyone can do that…we want to invite you on a lifelong journey with us!
